BLOOD Orange Gin Bottling Note

The terrifyingly tasty BLOOD Orange Gin is distilled with whole blood oranges, as well as dried blood orange peel, resulting in a flavour profile boasting both sharp and juicy orange notes aplenty. It's also got quite a dark red hue, almost a bit... Well, we'll just leave it at that somewhat ominous ellipses, as if we were trying to be a horror writer, like that one who wrote about a hospital over the very gates of Hell. Anyway, BLOOD Orange Gin will be excellent in a G&T, as well as a Negroni served with a blood orange garnish.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Westcountry Direct

Nose: Big blood orange on the nose, with a sturdy juniper backbone and hints of zesty coriander.

Palate: Rich, unctuous, and well-rounded. Never oversteps into sickly or cloying and the juniper is present and correct alongside the orange.

Finish: Spice pokes its nose through the richness, as the citrus notes give way to black pepper, nutmeg and anise on the tail.

Overall: A spookily good gin which isn’t at all afraid not to take itself too seriously.
